529 College Saving Plan

While there is a lot to know about the 529 plan, the following is a brief explanation.

A state-sponsored program designed to help parents finance education expenses. Section 529 plans are administered by investment companies and subject to contribution requirements and investment guidelines. They allow for much larger contributions to the fund.
